BEST PLACES TO VISIT IN DUPAGE COUNTY MY TOP PICK IS DANADA Danada is my personal favorite, this is where I go for long walks.  My family had weddings here, my late stepfather and cousin planted trees near Danada House.   If you love nature, long walks, biking, horses, picnics or just getting out of the busy life you’ll be glad you came!  Be sure to visit Lucky Debonair's stall and see the track he trained on.  Check out all of the family oriented events that are held here.   MEET MY GRANDSONS   SILAS AND JUDAH FIND CLYDE   RARE FOOTAGE LUCKY WINS KENTUCKY DERBY

Living in Warrenville Illinois

Beautiful Warrenville Illinois  I feel this town is one to be admired in DuPage County.  I moved to Warrenville in 1991 when my kids were very young.  They loved growing up in this quaint community and I was happy to share these photos with you.   Warrenville continues to change and yet still manages to keep the small town feel that draws so many families here.  Wheaton and Naperville are just a short distance away and now Hubble Middle School resides right here in the heart of town.  My daughter was bussed into Wheaton when she attended Hubble.  The MLS shows the lowest priced single-family home in Warrenville to be listed at $78,900!  The most expensive is $1,600,000 and offers 6 bedrooms and 6.5 baths.   I'm happy to have spent ten years is this fantastic community.  To find out more go to WARRENVILLE ILLINOIS Quaint downtown

Blackwell Forest Preserve Warrenville Illinois

BLACKWELL FOREST PRESERVE Today I went to Blackwell Forest Preserve to snap a few pictures for my flickr account.  I'm surprised how many people do not realize this fantastic lake is right here in Warrenville! Whether you hike, bicycle, horseback ride, camp or fish this is THE place to check out.  There are over 1,300 acres that house the beautiful 62-acre Silver Lake.  If you fish and have not been here this is your lucky day as this lake houses bluegill, catfish, crappie, largemouth bass and more!  The weather couldn't have been more beautiful, and the fisherman were out enjoying the serenity of this fantastic park.  There are campgrounds as well so check out their website at BLACKWELL FOREST PRESERVE  and find out about the numerous events that are held annually! I liked the reflection of the clouds in this photo Signs that Fall is around the corner are everywhere!

Lisle Illinois

The New Prairie Walk Today after my client's home inspection I decided to take a drive to Lisle.  For the past few weeks, I could not find my camera.  I suppose in my business your camera can be as important as your cell phone or computer.  While waiting for my client I realized my camera was sitting in my briefcase! I knew the afternoon was for some pictures.  It has been a while since I was able to take some. I chose   LISLE  because it is a super little town that is really growing to be a beautiful sought-after location in DuPage County but don't forget Lisle is a Village!  It was named after  LISLE NEW YORK .  What I found really surprised me.  The number of people out here and the serenity you feel whether you walk, sit on a bench, or watch the kids play at the water center was very peaceful.  The day was a bit gloomy, but I'm uploaded my pictures on Flickr all the same. This has been a treme...

Springtime at Cantigny in Wheaton Il

Cantigny, Wheaton Illinois Last Sunday my husband and I had the pleasure of taking in our much anticipated Spring season at the gorgeous Cantigny park located on Winfield Road in  Wheaton Illinois .  Last Sunday my husband and I had the pleasure of taking in our much anticipated Spring season at the gorgeous Cantigny park located on Winfield Road in Wheaton Il.  I took many pictures but only chose a few to put on my flickr account because I simply could not get enough photo's of the flowers and feel I've overdone it.  The gardens in this park are beautiful all year round.  This is a 500 acre park that once belonged to Robert R. McCormick , the Editor and Publisher of the Chicago Tribune.  His story is interesting and while there you may watch a short film of his life and tour his spectacular home that he generously has donated as a museum.  You may also picnic, have events (there was a wedding going on when we were visited on Sunday), t...
