Blackwell Forest Preserve Warrenville Illinois

BLACKWELL FOREST PRESERVE

Today I went to Blackwell Forest Preserve to snap a few pictures for my flickr account.  I'm surprised how many people do not realize this fantastic lake is right here in Warrenville!

Whether you hike, bicycle, horseback ride, camp or fish this is THE place to check out.  There are over 1,300 acres that house the beautiful 62-acre Silver Lake.  If you fish and have not been here this is your lucky day as this lake houses bluegill, catfish, crappie, largemouth bass and more!

The weather couldn't have been more beautiful, and the fisherman were out enjoying the serenity of this fantastic park.  There are campgrounds as well so check out their website at BLACKWELL FOREST PRESERVE and find out about the numerous events that are held annually!

I liked the reflection of the clouds in this photo

Signs that Fall is around the corner are everywhere!
