Heart at Ribfest
STYX TO PLAY AT NAPERVILLE RIBFEST
When I saw Heart play the Naperville Ribfest a couple of years ago it was a real highlight for me. That was MY band when in high school. I sat there all day long to be right up front for a really great performance. It was well worth the wait.
I keep getting calls about going to the fest this year to see STYX. I think they are a great band but I'm not sure if I will or won't. However, for all the STYX fans out there, yes, they will be playing this year at the Naperville Ribfest.
Remember if you plan to go this is a JAM packed event. There will be thousands who will attend. Take a blanket and come early. The fest has the top rib vendors from around the country. You can also volunteer your time if interested. I'm sure the help is very much appreciated.
The Naperville Ribfest is held at Knock Park in Naperville across from Naperville Central High school. It will be held over the July 4th weekend. The fireworks will begin at 9:30 and I must say they are really spectacular.
