DuPage County Market Stats 2007 thru 2010

The number one interest of the public when it comes to housing is WHEN WILL IT GET BETTER?
I don't see how anyone can answer that.   I don't even think economists can predict the forecast.  Things can change fast from day to day globally and in our own country.

This is truly the time to buy so take the loss on the selling end if you can and reap the rewards when you buy.  To try and help show percentage drops and price changes from 2007 (the good old days) until now I made up some data with stats I received from IAR's website.

Now you can look at the 2007 number of homes sold in DuPage County and compare that to 2010.  Those are the facts whether we like them or not we need to deal with it.  Selling a home today can take much much longer.

Naperville is having a redesign contest for their resident newsletter.  I thought this might be fun for anyone who is creative or just wants a shot.  Also a family activity as well with your kids choosing a name, etc.  If you think you or someone you know may be interested check it out at the naperville website
to get all the details.

By Jackie Beardsley WHAT JACKIE DOES TO GET HOMES SOLD! When Sellers had to move and the home was left vacant, this is how I helped them reach their goals in just a few days.  Above is my MLS photo of the kitchen which beautifully shows off their hard work. When I was asked to help out of state Sellers get their home sold quickly, it was a challenge well worth the hard work ahead.  First, I did a CMA for selling the property AS IS (picture below).
