Chirstmas in Naperville!

I always loved Christmas time in Naperville.   We don't put up many lights but do frame our front porch area.  I'm going to try and add some lights every year.  This is a great time to put the kids in the car, play some Christmas music and view some of the spectacular homes.  The owner's take great pride in their effort to make the season a little brighter and they should.  I can't wait to get some photo's.  Even if you do not celebrate this holiday it is still worth seeing the magnificent displays.
All of the photo's are taken from a house in Columbia Estates.  From Columbia Avenue you turn into the sub-division and go down a couple of blocks and turn right.  It's a must see for the entire family.  You can also tour Christmas homes on the Naperville Trolley.  Check out their website at www.napervilletrolley.com

If you are thinking of New Years Eve but don't have plans you should check out the all day event held in downtown Naperville on Friday December 31st from noon until midnight.  There will be something for everyone to enjoy.  Some of the events will include face painting, jugglers, musicians, fortune tellers.  Keep warm with free hot chocolate served at the riverwalk eatery from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.  Ring in the new year where they have their traditional countdown and the carillon.  For more information on this fun filled day go to http://www.downtownnaperville.com/

By Jacqueline Beardsley From Offer To Close Buying a home is exciting and the time it takes from offer to close will vary depending on the situation as they are all different.  Here is what typically happens from the time of offer until close. An offer is accepted and once all of the parties have agreed to the price and terms and have signed and dated the contract it now has become a fully executed contract.
